About Us

Jennifer Hallgarth is the founding Principal of Heartland Advisory Group LLC. She is a Licensed Professional Geologist with 20 years of experience in environmental consulting, providing expertise for over 500 contaminated properties throughout the Midwest.

Her technical work has been focused on providing services for due diligence, risk assessment, third-party review, and regulatory compliance.  Her current practice is focused on environmental due diligence and specialized consulting services that aid in facilitating commercial real estate transactions and financing.

Ms. Hallgarth holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from Indiana University and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. She served as an Adjunct Lecturer at Indiana University Bloomington’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs, instructing E 311 Human Health Risk Assessment. She currently serves as a board member for Professional Geologists of Indiana. She is a licensed Real Estate Broker.
